Join us on the first Saturday in August 2026 for the 49th running of the Susan B. Anthony Women's 5k. The Susan B. Anthony (SBA) was founded in 1976 and is one of the oldest women's only races in the country. Whether you are looking to run your first 5k, or you are trying to achieve a PR, this is the race for you.

The race starts and finishes at Glen Hall Park adjacent to the American River and the course winds through the shaded, River Park neighborhood. There will be one aid station and toilet on course.

All runners will appreciate a hassle free race day experience that comes with a race that usually attracts between 300-500 runners. A smaller event means easy parking, the shortest porta-pottie lines of any race in town, and plenty of post race goodies.

Want something fun for the kids? The Elizabeth Cady Stanton Kids’ 1/2 Miler is one of the few free kids races in the area. Sign up your little ones on race day where they will get a treat at the end. Then let them blow off the rest of their energy in the bouncy house. All boys and girls are welcome!
