Results You Can Count On
Looking to qualify for Boston? Run a sub-4 hour marathon? Or is a marathon finish on your bucket list. Whatever goals you have, Sacfit has a training program to provide you all the challenge you want to get you to the goals you've set.
Program Details
Our 26-week Marathon training program is broken up into weekly segments, each segment consisting of five workout days.
- Monday: A timed active recovery workout of shorter duration.
- Tuesday: A track, hill repeat, or stair-lunge workout.
- Wednesday: Another recovery workout of moderate distance.
- Thursday: A tempo, race-pace, or longer mileage workout.
Saturday morning workouts are the longest of the week where the entire team and coaching staff meet at the same location. This workout includes coach-led pace groups, post-workout strength and stretching stations, and an occasional raffle!
Our 2026 Summer/Fall Marathon Training provides an opportunity for runners to participate in shorter-distance local events leading up to the CIM, including the 10-Mile Buffalo Stampede and Migration and Urban Cow Half Marathon!
Coach-led Pace Groups
To help you further attain your goal and enhance your workout experience, our staff of over 30 experienced and knowledgeable coaches actually train with you - something no other training group offers.
Post-workout Strength and Stretching
To complete the triad of fitness, we add Strength and Stretching to your Aerobics. This includes providing strength and stretching stations and equipment after your long workout.
CIM Start-line VIP Indoor Lounge
Sacfit provides an incredible indoor facility across the street from the CIM pre-race start line, allowing you to focus on your final pre-race preparations.
Aid Stations - Second to None
Part of any safe and sensible training program includes aid stations for longer workouts. Sacfit aid stations are famous along the Parkway for their variety of replenishment nutrition and ice-chilled water.
