Event Overview

The Folsom Lake Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlons are at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake offering a lake swim, scenic bike courses closed to traffic, and trail runs along the lake.

Event Details

• Location: Granite Beach, Folsom Lake
• Included: Swim cap, post race refreshments, pair of TBF Racing socks, custom Folsom Lake Triathlon Finisher Hat
• Commemorative T-Shirts: Available for $20 when ordered before May 2nd
• Awards: Overall Champion Awards for first place Male and Female, and three deep in each ten-year age group

Distances

• Super Sprint Triathlon: 400 yard swim - 5 mile bike - 2 mile run
• Sprint Triathlon: 1/2 mile swim - 10 mile bike - 3 mile run
• Relay Teams: Awards for top three in male, female, and coed divisions
• Packet Pick-Up: On race morning from 6:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.

Start Times

• Super Sprint Triathlon: 8 a.m. (waves to be announced)
• Sprint Triathlon: 9 a.m. (waves to be announced)
• Transition Area: First-come basis with exceptions for TRI Clubs
• Bodymarking: Race number marked on legs and arms at the entrance

Volunteer Opportunities

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position by emailing: [email protected].

Refund and Transfer Policy

• No Refund Policy: A refund requested prior to race week will receive a TBF Race credit minus a $25 processing fee
• Transfer Fees: $25 transfer fee for participant transfers: allowed within a one-year time frame
• Weather Policy: All events are held Rain or Shine
• Feedback: We appreciate any input, comments, or suggestions after the race
