Event Details and Schedule
Location: Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA
The Gold Rush Growler MTB Race is at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA, featuring a course with scenic single track and double track trails to ride on.
- Year: BACK in 2026
- Team Competition: Awards for Top three teams
- Course Distance: 10-mile course featuring fast, smooth single track trails at Folsom Lake.
- Entry Fee Includes: Custom Gold Rush Growler finisher beer glass, post race food and Beer for athletes 21 and over.
Distances
- 40 Miles: Pro, Expert, Single Speed Expert
- 30 Miles: Sport, Single Speed
- 20 Miles: Novice, Clydesdale
- 10 Miles: Beginner, Junior
MTB Team Competition
The MTB Team with the most points wins.
- Finisher Points: Each Team will receive 1 point per finisher per lap. Beginners get 1 point, Experts/Pro get 4 points.
- Podium Points: Each Team will receive extra points for each top three finish. First Place: 3 points, Second Place: 2 points, Third Place: 1 point.
Prizes
- First Place: Giant trophy plus swag
- Second Place: Big trophy plus swag
- Third Place: Respectable trophy plus swag
- Awards: Three-deep in each age-group and division.
Start Times
The Gold Rush Growler MTB Race starts at 10 am. Wave starts will be posted on race morning.
Packet Pick-up Information
Race packets will be available race morning from 8 am to 10 am at the race site.
Refund and Transfer Information
TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
Race for FREE Information
Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $40 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing our Volunteer Director Teri at [email protected] as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.
