Folsom Lake International Triathlon

The Folsom Lake International Triathlon started in 2012. The 2027 event will be limited to 300 athletes.

Event Details and Schedule

Location: Granite Beach, Folsom Lake

• Year: The Folsom Lake International Triathlon is in its 15th year.
• Venue: The race is at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake.
• Format: Featuring a lake swim, scenic road bike on country roads, and a beautiful trail run.
• New for 2027: Optional Finisher Medals available.

Inclusions

• Registration: Competitors receive a pair of custom TBF socks, a swim cap, post-race refreshments, and a Folsom Lake Triathlon Finishers Hat.
• T-shirts: Commemorative race t-shirts are available for $20 when ordered before May 2nd.
• Finisher Medals: Available for $15 when pre-ordered before April 2nd.
• Awards: First place Male and Female receive Overall Champion Awards: awards are three deep in each five-year age group, and top Relay Team awards are available.

Distances

• Triathlon: 1.5K swim - 40K bike - 10K run.
• Aqua-Bike: 1.5K swim - 40K bike.
• Relay Teams: Awards for top three in male, female, and coed divisions.

Packet Pick Up Information

Packet Pick-up for the Folsom Lake International Triathlon is race morning at the race venue from 6 a.m. until 8 a.m.

Start Times:

• Olympic-distance Triathlon: 8 a.m. with waves to be announced.

Race for FREE Information

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing [email protected] as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Participant transfers are allowed for this event, with a $25 fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
