Race Details

The Pleasanton Run for Education is an event designed for the entire community. The 14th Annual event will offers four distances: a 2 Mile, a 5K (3.1 mile) Run or Walk, 10K (6.2 Mile) Run, and a Kids' 1/4 Mile Challenge (3-10 years). The 2 Mile, 5K are stroller and walker-friendly events. The 10K is geared towards runners, is stroller-friendly, and entrants have 1 hour 45 minutes to complete the course.

Entry Inclusions

• Race Entry: Includes a short sleeve performance blend t-shirt, race timing (5K/10K), commemorative bib number, eligibility for age group and overall awards (5K/10K), finisher medal, and post-race refreshments.
• Ages: All ages are welcome: no minimum age.
• Upgrades: Option to upgrade to a technical race t-shirt for $10.00 or opt-out to save $5.00.
• Awards: Top three finishers per gender will receive a medal: age group awards will be based on net (elapsed) time.

Kids' Challenge

The Kids' Challenge is a 1/4 mile fun run for children ages 3 to 10. Entry includes:

• T-Shirt: Short sleeve t-shirt
• Commemorative Bib: Unique bib number
• Finisher Medal: For participating children
• Post-Race Refreshments: Available after the event

Snooze for Schools

For those with schedule conflicts, this option allows members of the community to support the event without attending on race day. Registration includes a T-shirt (option to opt-out to save $5). Note: shirts are not mailed, pick up at Packet Pick Up on April 18.

Pleasanton Unified School District Employees

PUSD staff can register at a reduced rate and must show their PUSD ID Badge at Packet Pick Up. The discount is only available to the employee and not family members.

Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up will be held on Saturday, April 18th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Pleasanton Middle School. You can also pick it up on event day starting from 6:30 am. Arrive early if picking up on event day.

• Can I push my infant in a stroller in the 5K? Yes.
• Do I need to register to run alongside my 9 year old? Yes, all participants must be registered.
• Can I walk the 2 Mile? Yes, both the 2 Mile and 5K are walker-friendly.

Registration and Refund Policy

All entries are non-refundable, but you may pick up your shirt at packet pick up. Gifting your entry is also an option: follow provided steps for the transfer.
