🏃‍♂️ Officer Jeremy Labonte

• Tragic Incident: Roswell Police Officer Jeremy Labonte was shot and killed in the line of duty on February 7th, 2025 while responding to a suspicious person reported at a shopping center.
• Heroic Actions: Officer Labonte quickly located the suspect and approached for questioning, but was fired upon multiple times.
• Legacy: Officer Labonte had served with the Roswell Police Department for over three years and is survived by his wife, parents, two sisters, nephews, and grandparents.

🎖️ What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?

• Purpose: The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series honors sacrifices made by first responders, veterans, and their families.
• Inspiration: It commemorates Stephen Siller, a firefighter who died on September 11, 2001.
• Foundation Goals: The Foundation supports those who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty every day.

📏 How far is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk?

• Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) to walk or run this event.
• All Welcome: Anyone can run, walk, or experience this event.
• Course Map: Please see “Course Map” under event info on the homepage for more information.

👕 Will there be participant shirts?

• Registration: Yes, all participants and volunteers will receive a T-shirt.
• Deadline: Please register or notify us of your intent to volunteer by August 3rd, 2025.

🚗 Is there parking available?

• Location: Yes. There is limited parking at Riverfront Park.
• Additional Parking: If needed, we will work to secure parking at other locations.

📦 Where can I pick up my packet?

• Details: Details will be coming on packet pick up!

👤 Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

• Yes: Yes, they can.

📝 Can I register the day of the run?

• Registration Time: Yes. Registration will open at 6:30 am the morning of the run.
• Shirt Availability: If you wait, we may not have a shirt for you and we do not guarantee sizes for late registrants.

⏰ When does online registration close?

• Online Registration: Online registration will remain open, and registration on race day is allowed.
• Price Increase: There will be a price increase for day-of registration.

🔖 Do I have to wear my bib number?

• Mandatory: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
• Course Rules: Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.

🏅 Will there be awards for running?

• Awards: Yes. Awards will be given to the top 3 first responders running in gear, then the top 3 men and women, youth, and teens.

💧 Will water be available?

• Water Stations: Yes, a water station will be available along the route.
• Start/Finish Line: There will be water available at the start/finish line.

🎒 What can you bring to the event?

• Permitted Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted.
• Security: Please leave all personal items and valuables in your vehicle at your own risk.
• Responsibility: Tunnel to Towers Foundation will not be responsible for the loss of any items.
