🏃♂️ Mighty Mile Overview
- Event: The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old.
- Location: This race is located at the Parkside Middle School Track on Thursday evening, June 4th.
- Objective: Encourage our children to run and stay active.
- Goal: A fun and challenging event to kick off a healthy summer!

- Finish the school year: A challenging and fun mile for students.
- Get Active: Start the summer off to an active and healthy start!
- Participants: Open to children aged 5 to 14.
- Registration: Online registration is essential for participation.
🎽 Race Perks
- Free Entry: There is no entry fee for the Mighty Mile.
- Race Registration: Must register online before the race.
- Participant Gifts: Each runner will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a finisher medal.
- Limited Spots: Race is limited to the first 200 participants!
🕒 Schedule
- Race 1: 6:30pm | 5 - 7 year olds
- Race 2: 6:50pm | 8 - 9 year olds
- Race 3: 7:10pm | 10 - 11 year olds
- Race 4: 7:25pm | 12 - 14 year olds
📊 Race Results
- Timing: The race will be electronically timed using a disposable chip.
- Results Availability: Will be posted immediately after the race online.
- Awards: No awards, but all runners will receive a finisher medal.
- Purpose: To promote self-improvement and healthy lifestyles.
🏁 Course Information
- Location: Start and finish is on the Parkside Middle School Track.
- Race Structure: The first 1/4 mile on track, loop across school grounds, finishing with another 1/4 mile on track.
- Support: Members of the Grow Jackson Organization will be present along the course.
- Encouragement: Feel free to run with your child!

- Fee: The race is free but requires online registration prior to the race.
- No On-Site Registration: There will be no registration available at the race.
- Packet Pick Up: Race day at Parkside Middle School Track from 5:15 pm to 7:00 pm.
- Water: Bring water for your child: there will not be water available at the race.
