No Better Way to start 2026 than with a 5k! Run Cane Bay is Excited to bring you The First Day 5k 2026. The race is being held in Cane Bay Plantation and is for all ages, skills, and speeds. Race starts at 9:26am.

🌟 The Course

Please join us in the beautiful Cane Bay for a fun, fast, new 5k! Held on the community paved trail system, this flat course is perfect for beginners, experts, and even walkers, and strollers. Sorry, but no pets are allowed.

• Start Point: Begins at Cane Bay Elementary School parking lot.
• Course Features: Loops thru 2 tunnels over a 3.1 miles course.
• Safety: Sheriff's Deputies stationed when crossing the parkway.
• Terrain: Paved multi-use trails ideal for all participants.

🏅 Awards and Finisher Gifts

All Finishers will receive the 2026 Hooded Sweatshirt and FREE coffee or cocoa as they finish. Prizes will be given to males and females 1st thru 3rd overall and in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
