StRides Against Suicide & Overdose 2024 is hosting a 5k Run/Walk and various bike rides to raise funds for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment for those in need in Northwest Indiana.

📈 Mission and Impact

Awareness: Addressing the increasing suicide rate and overdose deaths in the US.
Fundraising: Raising money to provide mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Statistics: Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among 15–34 year olds in Indiana. In 2020, 100,306 people died from overdoses in the US.
Solution: Providing scholarships for uninsured or underprivileged individuals in need of treatment.
